The added horsepower (over my previous ancient model) meant I could run plex server directly on the NAS, and take my laptop out of the loop completely. The point it really made sense was when I upgraded my Synology to a 918+. I have a fairly large library of Movies, TV shows and Music, and I'm pleased with the balance of simplicity/functionality that Plex delivers. I'm a plex user (after trying various other things). do I really need anything else? (I read about Infuse to play files on ATV? Things like direct play and stream, I got confused) iPhone, Ipad: serves as remote where I can use PLEX to browse and play the media files (?) Apple TV 4K is already connected to my Rotel analogue amp, which produces the sound NAS (QNAP or Synology?): holds and streams all the files (to Apple TV?) I don't want to have laptop/computer in the "active loop", I just use it to manage and transfer music. Having all my digital music files in a centralized NAS, where I can access and play them with a friendly visual interface, using either in my iPhone, Ipad or Smart TV as a browser. Music is the main priority (I have thousands of actual CDs and Vinyl, but also a library of 50k digital audio files), but also photos and some movies (some MKVs). Can you please help validate my set-up see if I got it right? I thought this was going to be easier to figure out but the more I search the more pitfalls there seems to be. Although I'm an Apple user, I don't really care for iTunes (Apple Music now), I can switch to PLEX which seems like a simpler solution. symfonium is a very powerful app.I'm interested in buying a NAS to be my media center. I understand that symfonium developer is ambitious. In fact, this feature is very simple and basic for all apps except symfonium Additional description and context: Because for now, Symfonium is like Infuse Pro on iOS – it’s the only app that’s beautiful and powerful Other application solutions: If the app adds an online only playlist that copies from plexamp and finamp, then I’m sure plexamp user and finamp user will be very willing to switch to symfonium, They will have a better listening experience. I think plexamp users and finamp users might not switch to symfonium.Because symfonium’s offline first playlist synchronization logic is completely different from plex/jellyfin/navidrome, at least as a plex/jellyfin/navidrome user, and as a NAS cloud online user, the offline first synchronization logic is confusing to me Brought benefits: Do you only use one mobile phones? And I say that because I have multiple devices > I can’t remember which device′playlist has changed on > So I need to download from cloud EVERY TIME I use playlist & upload to cloud EVERY TIME I edit playlist to confirm that the playlist is not sync error I don’t know why you developers don’t feel uncomfortable in the process of using apps. When I click on playlist(only online), it lists all the Playlists of online servers, and I can show/hide the playlist of any server with the top button (picture2) Problem solved: I would like to add an online only playlist, which is playlist with the same synchronization logic as plexamp and finamp: any changes to playlist will be automatically synchronized to server, and PlayList will automatically read the latest data from server every time it is accessed (picture1) Hello developers, I’m a navidrome server user.
